Harthill Copse to be remembered in exhibition…….

The Spirit of Trees, originally uploaded by urbancanvas08.

This playful image featuring Councillor Phil Moffitt and the children of Broadgreen primary school perfectly captures the essence of our ‘Spirit of Trees’ event held last year in Harthill Copse……the irony being that this image has now been chosen to form part of the ‘Creative City’ exhibition at the new museum of Liverpool Life on the waterfront.
The exhibition will open in 2011 and alongside the Beatles and Liverpool Football club will highlight creativity in the city.

The image will form part of a massive montage of images from around the city.

How ironic is it then that the very woodland from where this was taken has now been destroyed…..

I’m proud of the fact that there are some people out there who can see exactly where we are coming from…… 😉
