UrbanCanvas new video!

We spent a full week at Broadgreen Primary School last September 2009.

The school is in the Old Swan district of Liverpool and visual artists UrbanCanvas (Philip Battle & Catherine McMahon) took on the immense challenge of devising art workshops for the entire school of over 400 pupils.

It was a great success that accumulated in a carnival type procession around the school on the last day. The project was funded by Creative Partnerships for Schools.

This video follows our first day and a half in the school where we created a giant world globe piece of pavement art……..more to come!  🙂
